Hi, sounds like the card was faulty from the start. If the "intense graphical processing period" you mention is a game or video editing or a CAD program, there might be known incompatabilitys with that card and there might be mention of it in the readme/help file of the game or program that you are using it for. Tech support is not real brilliant for video cards. They ether work properly or don't, has been my experience.
