Default [Answered] Installing new graphics card

Hello, Happy New Year!

I got a late xmas pressy, an ATi sapphire X1550 512mb DDR2 AGP graphics card, i was wondering if this is compatible with my system.

My Motherboard ID is 10/30/2003-SiS-661-6A7I4E1A

Motherboard Name TriGem Advent SeriesC-00

Also some easy to follow installation instructions would be a real help as the ones in the box pretty much say "put it in the slot and connect the wires" bit vague to say the least!

all help greatly appreciated and many thanks in advance

D

As long as it fits OK.. you should be alright.
Depends on how many watts your PSU is.

Power may be a bit "borderline" (low)
If you just want a performance-boost you'll be OK... but it will depend on how you use it.
Don't panic... this is my opinion. It could be fine for you...the only way to know is to try it out.
