another question, between the compatibility of motherboard and video card. is it only the AGP or PCI interface? are there anything else that could cause conflict between the pc and video card? or is it just the agp or pci? because i thought these 64-bit or 128-bit could conflict with my pc and the voltage of video car. or do i just need any video card with an agp in it?

ive searched the internet about GEFORCE 6200 coz i think ill gonna buy it.
ive found this link XFX - Products GeForce™ 6200 : Models

then it says that

Bus Type:
AGP 8X

and my motherboard is AGP4x? do they match? or something? im afraid that i could buy the wrong video card.. huhu

Hi angel,

AGP speeds weren't that critical to be honest.
You could have a 8x card in a 4x slot and the card would just run a bit slower. There should be no other compatability issues you will see or experience

In regards to AGP and PCI...they're completely different interfaces and will not work together. PCI goes in PCI slot, AGP goes in AGP slot and PCI-express (your computer doesn't have this) goes in PCIe slot...PCI-X is server specific and shouldn't be bought for desktop computers
