am running
striker extreme
qx6850 oc'd 3500 10x multiplier
2 x 2gb ocz pc8000 reaper x
2 raptors 150gb
1kw pc power and cooling 1100watt peak
2 x evga 8800ultra superclocked
2 watercooling systems 1 for gpu's 1 for cpu

thinking of going tri sli with 1 more ultra
don't have any spare pcie connections from psu...
would the adapters work
ie 2 molex's to pcie connector x 2
don't wanna change psu just yet...

Not sure about this but according to the specs fro your motherboard the third pci-e slot only runs at x8:

Don't waste your time or money - no game will support it properly, and you'll just have 3 out of date video cards instead of 2, or even 1

My opinion anyway.

Surely 2 top of the range cards - superclocked are enough bornslippy Although I wouldn't mind a free ultra

not enough to run crysis at 1920x1200 unfortunately..
i admit i have turned into an upgrade junky.... too much time indoors...kids stopping pub visits...need a vice..

but can you tell me if the molex connectors have enough power for an 8800 ultra?
