Ok heres the deal. Got ahold of someone they couldnt test the ram but i am sure that isnt the issue. They tested the hd which was detected but do to software **** issues between mbs he couldnt actually boot it up. But it does sound like it attempts to boot. The video card worked just fine also. So that leaves the motherboard. I took everything apart like items just came out of the box. Inspected the motherboard everything where it is suspose to be. No scratchs dust ect. But everytime the pci 6 pin connecter is hooked to the video card it wont turn the pc on. But if 6pin connecter not hooked to the vid card the power turns on. Btw this is new and better psu than before so that doesnt count.

Does this sound like a motherboard problem then?

Yeah, Windows will only work on the motherboard it was actually installed on, so I'm not surprised he couldn't boot up.

If you have tested another graphics card in that slot, and sure that the PSU is powerful enough for that card, then the motherboard (slot) will be the next most likely.

well it isnt if it is in slot or not. The power wont turn on if gfx card is out of the slot and the pci 6pin is connected to video card. But if card is in the slot and the pci 6pin isnt connected to the gfx card the power will come on.

Sorry, did you try a different graphics card or did you just disconnect the 6pin? Also, what 6 pin are you talking about? Some graphics cards require a 4 pin power connector from the PSU, is this what you mean?

Where does this 6pin plug into from the graphics card Mage? If the card works on another PC, then yes this would rule out the card. Leaving the motherboard. Unfortunately, not being in a workshop environment where you have the spares and equipment to test these things out properly, then your it's much more trial and error.
