hey i got a new system and its kitted out with the nvidia 8800 ultra 768mb ddr3, i got the flight sim x game to really test the gpu out. Now i can run the game fine n stuff but i am concerned because i am only getting around 20-30fps. I see that people with gpus that are in insuperior to mine and yet they are saying they get around 100fps. is there something wrong with my pc? Also my games were crashing so i opened the pc n faced a big fan in it and the gpu temperature went down from around 60 degrees to 30 and it doesnt crash anymore is there something wrong with the gpus cooling fan aswell??

What resolution are you playing the game at?

its only at 1024 by 768, and im only getting these frames by opening the side and putting a big fan next to it, without it the gpu overheats and i only get about 10fps.

I've heard that Flight Sim X is quite intensive.

Flight simulator for Vista doesnt really get high frame rates.Download the Crysis Mp Beta and try that.Planes don't move very fast in the game.And is it 60C at load?

sorry at idle it goes at about 55-60 degrees, not too sure about what it gets to with a load But anyway if my card cannot run fsx with over 30 fps what can? it seems stupid that the best nvidia gpu at the moment cannot run this game. Pleas help me...
