hey sorry for writing another post, but this shouldnt take up much precious time,
i hope i havent already asked this:

does a gddr3 card work with ddr2 ram? or are they even related?
im just about to buy and have to be 100% certain.

some other dude told me theyre not but you can never be too sure.
thanks in advance

oh yes they are. there is no correlation between the Video Card Memory and System Memory. you can use GDDR4 with SDR memory if they had SDR motherboards with PCIe slots. Dont worry about it. the type of VRAM (ie GDDR2, GDDR3) has no effect on the rest of the system. so yes it will work.
