hi im a new member. i have a nvidia 7300le and i want an upgrade.i was going to go for a radeon x1950 pro but apparently it needs a 350w psu, i only have a 300w max. could someone please tel me of a card with similiar enough perfomance to the x1950, about the same price, preferably lower obviously, and one that will work on a 300w psu. thanks in advance for any help you can give me. please help.

Have you thought about replacing your PSU for a 350 or 400w?

UPS, Server Cases & Acc's, PSUs, PC Tools, Fans & Cooling, Cases, Case Mods, MicroDirect.

Just decide how much you want to spend....

wow i didnt realise they were such cheap components, well at least in comparison to other ones. i just had a look on ebay, do you think a "600 watt silent pc power supply unit psu atx 600w" (to give it its full title) would be a good buy? about 40 euro including p&p. or should i go for more w or less w? if i was thinking of buyn the x1950 pro or maybe a nvidia 8400gs or 8500 gt

i wouldnt worry too much. those reccomendations are way overstatead. i have a geforce 6600GT that stated it needs a 350watt Power Supply Unit, and im running it off of a 305watter. im going to upgrade so i can get a dual core proc, but no problems so far. but like monkey said, it depends on the rest of your hardware.

here you go : amd athlon dual core 3800+ 2.0ghz, a gb of ddr2 sdram, nvidia geforce 7300le turbocache with pure video technology(?) up to 256mb. any help?
