Hi Guys

what do you think of this card. I mainly use my pc for sport games and first person shooters. I have a tight budget. Would you reccomend this card? any suggestions

Yep, definately a good card. NVidia are good quality, but double check the manufacturer (XFX, Asus for example). Not personally very keen on Gainward. I would personally save just a little bit extra for the 8800.

its the same as mine, except i have a 8500 GT whatever that means...

i might get that card (8500gt). is it satisfactory? what games do you play with it?

The 8500 gt is a very very cheap card, both on price and performance, since your not a hardcore gamer rather go for an ATI 1600 pro or above ( ie you dont really need DX 10), it has nearly double the performance, thus you can at least poke fun at the newish fps's, price wise, here in my country its about R 300 more, so a bargain.... If you cant then the 8500GT it actually is OK, just a bit better then the average onboard graphics cards. Or go for a 7 series card for the same price, ie a 7600 gs/gt, better performance no dx 10 ... chhers

I am thinking of getting a 8800 gts ! Is this ok , will this play say kanes Wrath or will i have to go to the Gtx ? It will save me loads if it will run on the lower end one .

Yes a 8800 gts will play Kanes Wrath. If you have the patience however, I would wait until November/early December when the new Nvidia 9800 will be out.
