Question [Answered] Nooby Questions

Sorry to all the people who are not new to this but i wan't to play WoW on my laptop but there are two things i need to improve but it is the sceond which i wan't to know about, is there anyway i can upgrade my laptop graphics or video card (i think they are the same thing...sorry noob)so can some one help me please and explain if i can upgrade my graphics...and also i have heard a lot about motherboards,what are these...thanks for your help.

Hi welcome to the forum with a laptop you can't upgrade the graphics card it's part of the mainboard. But you can allocate more memory to the graphic's card in your bios which will make it perform better.

well, you cant upgrade the graphics card, but you can add memory and a better cpu. what laptop do you have, make, and model, cpu model and speed, and how much memory, and what graphics card do you have?

With a laptop, the graphics card is integrated into the motherboard. You definitely want to upgrade that RAM and that celeron isn't necessarily powerful but will do...

For RAM, you can max out by buying this:
CT2KIT12864AC53E - 2GB kit (1GBx2), 200-pin SODIMM , DDR2 PC2-4200 from Crucial.com

Wait for MadMatt to tell you for sure if it's compatible.
