That's it!

You can sometimes see your wattage on the back of the power supply unit, but it can sometimes be found on the side or the top of the power supply. If it's on top, then you will need to remove 4 screws at the back of the case (which is holding the PSU in place).

The Thanks can be used any time you feel like it. - normally when you find a post helpful.

  • Shut down computer. Removed case. Disconnected everything from the box.
  • Checked wattage -
    • MAX CONTINIOUS TOTAL DC OUTPUT POWER SHALL NOT EXCEDED 375W
Should I still switch out the cards, or is that my problem?

375w? Not a hope in hell!

The 8800 uses approx 100w more than the 8600. There's no way it could run on a 375. New power supply for definate Wallar.
