My computer is connected to my tv using a nvidia geforce 7300 graphics card and dvi cable. The software I am using for the card is 93.71_forceware_winxp2k_english_whql.exe. The problem is that there is black borders at the bottom and sides of the screen. I have tried resizing the screen in the nvidia control panel but if i expand it to fit the screen it cuts the top out. What I want to do is move the screen position which I have looked for in settings, control panel etc and I can't see an option to reposition.

If someone could help me to sort this out that would be much appreciated.

What screen do you have? Is it widescreen? Also, what is your resolution currently set to?

Yes its widescreen and my resolution is set to 1280 x 720.

I have now tried various different drivers including the modified forceware drivers and it is no better. Now the picture seems too big for my tv and overlaps the tv screen on all edges, for instance i can only see half of the bottom taskbar. This seems the best I can get now, I cant even get black borders anymore which would be better than this as I can at least see the whole screen. I need to be able to freely adjust the screen size which seems impossible. The adjust screen crt position function only gives me the option of editing my pc screen.

Such a simple thing should be easy to fix but its not which is frustrating.

Does anyone have any ideas?
