Hello belmarty,

What connection have you been using until now? What graphics card do you currently have?

i have been using the onboard graphics with vga on a monitor. just got a flat screen tv and thought i would try the s-video on the I/O ports @ the back but its not reconising the tv as the second monitor.

Your S-Video port is right next to your VGA right?

So when you right click on your desktop, go to Properties, Settings tab, you will see your extra screen [2] appear here. Click on that second monitor, and below you will see the options to Extend your windows desktop, and then to use it is your primary monitor.

EDIT: Marked as answered.
