hi. i bought a new computer and i wanted to install my 128mb video card i got from a friend. i asked the computer technician to install it to my new pc and he said that i would need a fan for my video card. is this true? what will happen if i install my hardware without a fan? thank you.

The Inno 3D cards are supposed to have fans on them, what happened to yours?

Without a fan, there is a high risk your GPU will overheat and burn out. If there is sufficient cooling inside the PC, you *may* get away with day to day tasks that are not graphically intensive, but it wouldn't survive very long in a game. Personally, I wouldn't even risk it.
