Default Laptop to tv

Hi all,
I want to connect my laptop to my tv but my laptop doesn't have a tv-out socket?!?!
How do i get around this?

Its ok, i've sorted it now.
They both have a vga 15 pin connector on them.
So should just be a case of getting a cable to connect them both. Right??

Well......
I managed to get my wallpaper onto my tv via the laptop but thats all i get.... Just the wallpaper!!!
How do i get it to show movies on my tv via the laptop????

Hi lushlynn,

If you hold down the FN key and then tap the F4 key, this should switch between laptop/tv/laptop + tv

If it do esn't work - please post your laptop model and make - as Hengis previously asked, and we'll find out for you

Ok..... i can see the movies on my tv via the laptop but the sound is only coming thru the laptop... How do i do it so its going thru the tv???
