Default [Resolved] Scrollbar Linked With No Graphics Card?

Thanks for reading and hope you can help me with this problem I have.....

My computer used to run fast with no trouble... til I tried to remove everything on the computer to remove a couple adwares on the comp, and well, I think the Graphics card driver went too and I didn't realize it....

Funny thing is, I can watch any Youtube or anything like that without any trouble, but FFXI can't be played because of the driver thats missing, apparently.

Thing is, at this time as well, my scrolling up/down via the internet on my scrollbar went slow as well, to the point of where it freezes a tad, then scrolls down, then freezes, then scrolls down... Does this link with the graphics card or no? And if so, will the driver reinstallation solve this problem? If not, then where would I go to solve this minor annoying issue?

Thanks for all your help!

It can't hurt to reinstall the video card driver and I might fix your problems.

If this doesn't work, let us know what your new symptoms are after reinstalling your video driver.

Good Luck...

When I re-installed the DirectX3, though, FFXI said before I was forced offline....

"Terminated as error occurred in FFXI. Failed to initialize Direct 3D. Please Check that this computer has the required specifications to run FFXI (-1)."

Do you think this has something to do with the slow graphics as well? Cause my FFXI has also been a victim of this, but I just downloaded a recent addition of DirectX3....

First of all you should download the latest Direct X from Download details: DirectX End-User Runtime
Next update your video drivers as the scroll issue is almost definatly related to that.

In regards to another post, I tried Belarc, and under Display was captioned "None detected"...

- Add the fact the PC is slow and the FFXI stuff and well, therein lies the problem...

I'll see with reinstalling the drivers, then I'll report back.

What version of Windows are you using?

If it is Vista, then you need to run Belarc as Administrator.
