Yep, that's why I'm not using the card except in my HP. You can mark this as answered.

I've another problem solved and another subject and situation smarter.

yep, your trying to fit an AGP card ( and a crappy 1 at that ) into a pci-e slot. you can pick up a budget pci-e card for under £40 that will play the likes of doom on low settings
