When playing games my pc will sometimes freeze up. Then my monitor's "power saving" message will come up and the monitor will turn off, other times the computer will restart. If im lucky it will blip back to the game, but continue to do freezing until i exit the game or reboot my pc.

The first obvious solution i thought of was the psu was bad, but i replaced it with a 500w antec truepower....and still got this problem.

It does sound like that could be the problem. So it doesnt happen at all when you are not playing games?

What is the make and model of the card and what temps are you getting whilst playing games?

GPU is a HIS X1950xt.

I'm not sure which of these temps on the speedfan prog is my gpu so I'll just post them all( logfile of temps, this is last one it picked it up, IE when it crashed)

CPU: 42c
MB: 49c
Temp3(GPU i think): 44c
HD: 39c

Yeah...those don't look very alarming but i don't know what else could be causing these crashes, perhaps this software is off by alot and my system is hotter then i think?

There is normally one built into ATI control panel, can you check the temp there whilst playing a game?

Hmm, I can't seem to find the one you're talking about.
