Default [Resolved] Problem.

Ive been tinkering around with my PC and I seem to have messed something up. While I was putting it back together (having taking it apart to check something) I must have done something wrong because whenever I turn it on now it boots up but my screen just displays "no signal". I really am at my wits end as to what exactly I have done (or not done).I have a Asus A8N-E motherboard a ViewSonic VA902 19" screen and a WinFast Nvidia Geforce 7600 GT.Please help!

Hi Casey,

Welcome to PCHF.

Does it only go blank where your desktop would normally appear, just after the Windows logo screen? If so, please can you try using the other port on your graphics card?

I click my power button, everything turns on, fans start up, regular beeps etc etc. but absolutly nothing out of the screen. Its all hooked up properly and was working up until I opened it up to check the memory.

OK casey,

- Try the other port on your graphics card.
- Check the connection on the back of the screen itself, to make sure this wasn't accidentally pulled during this process.
- Remove your graphics card, and re-insert it to make sure it isn't slightly loose.

All done but none had any affect on the outcome - still zero output.

Why have you got that Female to Male graphics lead adapter on the PC PFX?

Because I have little to no experience on how to maintain and keep a PC in good order. Should it be some other way?
