Default [Closed] video error mystery....

I am the one that posted the "I'm at a loss..." post a couple of days ago. The problem still exists, and I have no idea what to do or what is wrong. I've since realized that a game I played prior to the one I'm having trouble with requires twice as much in system requirements than the one I'm having trouble with. So, is there a way to diagnose and test my video card to make sure it is running up to par? Maybe a utility or tool that will run a test on it? I have tried everything under the sun to get this to work with no success. Outside the game, everything is running fine (graphically), so this deepens the mystery. Thanks in advance!!

well, I appreciate the response, but I figured out the problem...I think. The game had a copyright protection config that needed a certain driver. Star pulse or something like that. I installed it and it works fine now. I just disagree with the way it locked up my machine and gave me a serious error all over some copyright driver. Anyway, thanks for your guys help up to this point.

EDIT: I have just noticed this and it seems to me you are/have over ridden copyright protection therefore this thread is closed.

Digital rights protection is the big thing today... unfortunately all of us pay the price for those getting illegal copies of software. Especially when it comes to games.
Do you have any idea how much money is involved ?

Halo 2 cleared 125 MILLION dollars in its first 24 hours of sales.

The all-time record for a hollywood movie release was 114 million (Spider-Man 2)
Think "they" wont try to protect that with every tooth and claw ?
