Hi there and welcome to the site,

Unfortunately the link you provided for the graphics card hasn't worked > New Eggs internal pages don't translate to outward facing links too well, so it's not your fault. The PC you have will take any new AGP graphics card, I'm sure that other members can give you some recommendations for that.

As for the PSU, a 300w is underpowered by todays standards. Personally I like Enermax and Antec - both of these makes are available from New Egg (if that is your chosen supplier).

hi i was wanting to purchase an ATI Radeon® X1900XTX so that i can play elder scrolls: oblivion on full graphics, but im worried that it might kill my pc. im aware that id need to upgrade my psu, so i was thinking of buying a 500w, is that too small? also would buying a processor help my gaming run better?
if so i was thinking about either an athlon fx-60 wich i was thinking might be overkill and an unessasery and expensive buy. or the athlon 64 800+ but that might be understanderd in a year or so. and last but not least i was worried that maby ive missed somthing? that theres more to buying a beast of a graphics card then just updateing ur psu? please id apreciate any warnings and pointers.

Hey Hoodie!

How do you mean you're worried that it'll kill your PC?

You should make sure your mainboard is compatible to all the stuff you want to upgrade!

Also, extending your RAM may also help you.
