Unhappy Graphics card problem.

So as of a few days ago, whenever I boot up my games they aren't working properly anymore. When I boot anything either the screen flickers really fast or all of the colors and text are off, like you're getting half broadcasting on your tv. I can get to the menus and stuff and they still work (the game doesn't crash) but all of the picture and text is warped to hell. And for some reason one of my games I can still play flawlessly, but all of the other ones don't run properly. I did the following to try to alleviate of the problem:

1. Took the side panel off of my computer and let a fan blow in it all night. Somebody told me that it might be overheating.

2. Sometime after that I booted up the computer with a different monitor than the one I normally use. And as I guessed, it didn't help.

I would really like to get this fixed as soon as possible. I'm going crazy without my gaming.

Hi echostrider. Welcome to the Forum.

Unfortunatly, blowing a fan in the box over night won't help an overheating issue. But as your video card is "intergrated" I strongly doubt it is overheating anyway.

Good that you've tested the monitor, that's what I would have initially done.

Have you tried reinstalling your chipset and video card drivers?

I'm sorry but what do you mean by chipset driver? I know how to re-install my video card drivers and i'll probably go do that now.

Chipset drivers are what control almost everything else on your computer...

As you have onboard nvidia audio, i'm going to assume you have a nForce board.

You will be able to download chipset drivers directly from nVidia or here

Can you please tell me what your motherboard is, just to make sure they're the right drivers.

I'm not sure exactly how to figure out what kind of motherboard I have, sorry.
