Now, I want to install a Video card in my PC with TV out so I can watch video files which are on my PC on my TV. So... The question I have is what video card is compatible with my system and how much can I expect to pay for one (I am thinking of buying off ebay) also can you tell me if I need a certain type or anything to play video files on my TV?

Here are my PC Specs:

Mainboard : NEC Computers international P5S800-VM
Chipset : SiS 661FX
Processor : Intel Pentium 4 519J @ 3066 MHz
Physical Memory : 512 MB (1x 512 DDR-SDRAM)
Video Card : Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) SiS661FX/760/741/M661FX/M760/M741 GUI 2D/3D Accelarator.
Hard Disk : SD380011A (80.0GB)

DVD-Rom Drive : _NEC DVD_RW ND-3530A
Monitor Type : ProView Technology - 15 Inches
Network Card : Realtek Semiconductor RT8139 (A/B/C/810x/813x/C+) Fast Ethernet adapter
Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP Home edition 5.01.2600 Service pack 2.
Direct X : Version 9.0c

Hi, any AGP 8X graphics card will do. Just make sure that it has connectors like this: WeetHet - Video - Connecting your PC to your TV-set (most, if not all do).

Thanks very much for the quick reply but I have one more question. Do I need to remove my old card before installing this new one? if so, how do I do ot?

and how do I connect the sound card up? I am getting confused now?

Your existing graphics is built into the motherboard, so the only thing you will need to do once you have added an AGP video card is turn off the onboard video in the motherboard bios.

Thank you so much for your help. Now I am looking on Ebay, do I need a 128MB or 256 MB card? or does it not make a difference? is it better to get the 256 MB one? Also , I am a bit dumb when it comes to PCs (Thats why this site is my saving grace ) How do I turn off the onboard video in the motherboards BIOS?
And last question
It says I require a monitor with a 15pin VGA connector. I dont think it has 15 pins.
