I have an older 1800+ AMD PC I built in 2002. I received wonderful advice from this forum on what to buy. Thanks again to all that helped. Some specs are below. I have a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 Video Card but would like to replace it with one that has TV-Out. I believe it is an AGP connection. It has never given me any problems. I am quite happy with the quality of video of this card but really want the TV-Out. I would like to have at a card that is at least this good and am not interested in spending buco bucks for the top video card since I do not game. I have an old CRT monitor. I use my computer to back up my DVDs and general emails letters etc.
The whole reason I am replacing my card is for the TV-Out jack. I would like to download, through iTunes, a couple of missed TV episodes. I would like to be able to watch them on my regular TV and so will use my stand alone DVR and the TV-Out to get them to DVD. From what I have read, this is the only way to get around the "protection" Apple uses to make life harder for their customers.
TIA
Specs on my computer:
AMD Athlon XP MotherBoard: MSI MS-6380E
Windows XP Home
VIA Bus Master IDE Controller
NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 (Microsoft Corporation)
Standard Game Port
