Unhappy Screen flickering

Hi - I really need your help if you can please. When I play all games, for about 5mins the picture is fine. After then, lots of small (sometimes large) white squares begin to appear on the screen and begin to flicker, basically completely distorting the view. This carries on until I quit the game.

I have some screenshots if required.

Thanks guys.

I believe that is called "fracturing" or "fracting", something along those lines. I got those once when I overclocked the GPU in my iBook. Did you overclock your video card at all? Maybe your video card is overheating, is the fan that came with it (if any) still working? A pal of mine once had his video card overheat and die because the fan that came with it was defective. Also, check for updates for the games in question, and driver updates for your video card. That's all I can really suggest. The guys here will probably be able to help you more.

Welcome to the forum Balzary. These types of "artifacts" on the screen are caused usually by;

a) A graphics card that has been over-clocked too far
b) A failing or failed fan on the graphics card GPU

Check both.
