Angry Please Help, PC is Freaking out

Hello everyone, I would like to thank any and all advice I get.
Okay, the problem is, whenever I start my laptop, I get these huge blocks of white all over the screen, oh yea, and they are blinky too. So, when windows XP loads, the blocks turns into columns of varieng color going up and down my screen. I thought it was just my vidio card, but....I have uninstalled it and reloaded my drivers and all that jazz.....but it still happining. Plus, it does it before it even loads the drivers for my PC. I have up dated my BIOS thinking that may help, but, that didn:t help it at all. I am all out of ideas here. I hope someone can help me.
