Default [Answered] Card question.

I have been searching for a new graphics card, for my HP notebook, and i am having problems finding anything for it. I guess my question is where do i get them from if i can even install one, or can i just install a normal card in my pc. I currently have an ATI Mobility Radeon X600 256 PCI Express.

Hi C-Force, and welcome to PCHF

Well, you cant just install a normal videocard in your laptop. Normally, you cant change graphics cards in a laptop, everything is on board, so unless you have a special laptop, its not possible.

Hope I helped you,

Greetz,

RubenTC

Hi,

I did some research, and no, you dont have a 'special' laptop. Actually, I havent found any 'special' laptops, so they must be pretty rare.

So the bad news is, that you cant install a new videocard.

But I also checked the current videocard of your laptop, and I think that you have a pretty high-grade graphics card for a laptop!!! Only if you buy the newest, and most expensive laptop, youll have a better graphics card.

I hope I helped you,

Greetz,

RubenTC
