Default AGP Card or Motherboard problem?

Well I gave up on my other motherboard and went with the one that works which is the ASUS A8V.It has an AGP 4x/8x slot.I put an PNY nVIDIA GeForce 6800 GS AGP in it.Well everything boots and runs fine until I try to play Madden '06.The gameplay is really fast,I can't control it.And when I go to load Age of Empires III a message pops up that says "Montior working fine Out of Range Scan Change PC Settings."I tried every resolution setting and nothing worked.Could it be the chipset on the motherboard or the actual graphics card? Here are my specs:

ASUS A8V Motherboard with a VIA chipset
AMD Athlon X2 3800+ Dual Core
2 GB Corsair RAM
600 W MGE PSU (24 Amps on 12V rail)
Westen Digital 200 GB Hard Drive
Windows XP Home Edition
PNY nVIDIA GeForce 6800 GS

I have the same motherboard, and a AOpen Geforce 6800LE. I suggest you download the latest nVidia Forceware drivers from their site, and then try again. Also make sure you have the latest DirectX version.

Try checking the EA site for the latest patch for Madden, they may have identified and fixed an issue with the game.
