Default SLi Problem

Hey everyone, I got my computer today and I am having many problems

specs:
AMD Athlon64 3200
EVGA nForce4 SLI Chipset
1024 MB (512MBx2) PC3200 400MHz Dual Channel DDR MEMORY (Corsair)
two GeForce 6600GTs

At first, I couldnt get XP installed - it was telling me the installation could not continue due to bad parameters....

So I got Win2k installed fine, but i can get the drivers to even recognize that I have the ability to enable SLi.....
Both cards show up in the devices list, but there is no SLi tab, or anything about SLi in my NVidia properties..

I am getting very annoyed.... my USB mic is sounding like **** - San Andreas is crashing....

I have tried reinstalling drivers a million times - nothin is working

Any help would be greatly appriciated

Perhaps nVidia has some programs to get the SLI working.

By the way, did you purchase that PC from iBuyPower? And was it perhaps, the Gamer FX?

first thing. both cards have to be absolutely identical to get it to work which means same brand and model(one of the advantages of ati crossfire). also check that the cable that goes between the 2 card is secured properly. also try getting the latest drivers.

maybe you could try the nvidia site for support on how it is done or email them. there are probably tutorials on the net showing set up. this is not my area of expertise so i am unsure what is wrong.
