how am i prepared for next gen gaming. will my comp be good enough.

This card will actually womp that card. Are you wanting to wait a bit for the next gen video cards? They should be out in a couple months. But this card is just the beggining.

that is just way out of my price range. the card i want is only 260. and the card i have now (6600gt) runs bf2 at medium with no problems. every other game at high.

I have never used an Nvidia based card. So I wouldnt be much help there.

I know this card will run most games like doom and Fear on high settings, due to its the only card with all 16 pipeslines open and costs less.

hmm that is a nice card for the price. ive never used ati before. would u reccomend them. like is there a major difference between the two componies.

I always recomennd ATI as I have never Used Nvidia cards. I have never had a problem with them. And they last perty long. As for differences its just like AMP and Intel, just a fight. But that card has all 16 pipelines open The other has 2 of them closed.

do u play bf2 at all. do u think i would be able to have bf2 on high with that card. im also gettiing a 19" lcd for christmas. will i be able to play on hd. rigt now i have a 6600gt, and i can play on all med with 2x aa and shadows
