Ok currently I have an nVIDIA GeForce FX 5700LE 256MB, which sucks. I'm finally going to upgrade to a decent card and I've pretty much decided on an nVIDIA GeForce 6600 but if there is a better one for a decent price, please let me know and provide a link (newegg.com or outpost.com). If the 6600 is the best one, please provide a link for that as well because there are tons of them and I'm not sure which one is best. Thank you.

Are you sure I wouldn't be better off with a 256 MB card? I'm trying to get the best possible. While under $200 if possible. If it's a little more and it's worth the extra then that's ok.

Actually I checked around a little and I'd be willing to spend around $300 if it's really worth it. Just let me know.

If your Staying with the AGP. I would Highly suggest this one or an ATI 800XT as for the agp they kind of womp on Nvidia.

Is this the best AGP card available for a reasonable price?

Will I be able to play all high-end games (Doom 3, Quake 4, F.E.A.R., etc.)? How will they look and how will the performance be?

I've never used ATI before. Is it really better than nvidia? What's the difference?

How much of an improvement will this be from my current card?

Yes this is probly the best AGP card for your money since it is a All In Wonder Card. It has a gghz memory clock. ATI is great. Ive never had a problem with them. But you can play Doom3 and Fear on it but not Fear on all high. Doom 3 you can play but not on Ultimate.
