Default Switching back to onboard graphics

Hello all.

I believe my graphics card might be the root of some probs I had with last pc but am not sure. I would like to diable the card in that system so my monitor wiil work on the onboard system to verify. Since I cant get a picture with card how can I switch it back to onboard?

You would have to go into your BIOS and turn onboard graphics on and either AGP or PCI off. then in windows go into your device manager, and disable your video card.

how would I get into bios if card isnt working to deplay?

if your onboard graphics work just plug the monitor into the other outlet in the pc. This way you can see when you do get into your BIOS.

so if my monitor is plugged into the onboard slot even if it is set for the ati card it will still allow the monitor to come on? and if montor doesnt come on then the prob was never realy in the ati card? am I understanding this correctly?

Why don't you simply physically remove your ATI card from your machine and then try to boot up the computer.
This way you won't have to disable or enable anything.
