Hello all,

This problem was definately related to video card drivers.
dgm only tried new drivers from asus, not the omega drivers suggested by merlin.

Alot of issues regarding ATI video cards are related to their CLI (control panel) and omega drivers actually remove this feature. Makign the download smaller and more efficient.

If you're more up on staying with the latest drivers - nVIDIA Geforce 8800 7950 7900 7600 GT GTX ATi Radeon x1950 x850 x1900 x1800 1600 XT Pro - Guru of 3D: PC Hardware Reviews for all drivers relating to games can be found here. Even some handy video card overclocking tools.
