well iam planing on instaling a new video card just need a few tips.
My video card is built in my motherboard does that mean i can install another video card eather into a PCI slot or a AGP slot I got 3 PCI slots and one AGP. so what do i need to do before instaling a new video card

i just got the pc in march this year so it doesnt have many thing in it but
for example what kind of files
o yah and what kind of video card should i get a pci or agp

If you do not have a PCI express slot the best way to go is AGP....Agp has its own bandwith and the cards are much better, more pricey but worth it.. You don't have to get rid of any files or games.. You might have to go into the computer's Bios and tell it to use the agp instead of the onboard video..

alrite well iam planinng on geting one at fryes they got a 64 mb nvidea gforse 2 for $50
but its a PCI card.
So if i get a PCI card what do i have to do before actually opening a computer and putting it in.

You dont need to do nothing before installing the card... Expect maybe unplug the pc...
Aslo you may need to gointo the Bios, Press F1 on reboot...And as i dont know your exact motherboard you will have to look around..usually in advanced though... And it will say video.. make sure it say's (if your using a pci card) PCI, or agp etc..

If you can spend 30 more bucks you get a vid card that can actually play doom 3...

Its agp, there much better card's...
But again if you put in the pci card just put it in and turn the pc on and it will come with a disc for drivers once you reboot install the drivers and your ready to go
