Hello there bellshazza.

What is the the minimum DirectX requirement for the game you want to play? It looks like youre card only supports up to DirectX 8.1.
If you already have the latest mobo and vga drivers and directx installed then youre card cant handle the game , but if you haven't then try updating them.

If the game was shipped with DirectX 9.0c then it most likely will need it to run and if youre card doesn't support it then there is nothing you can do other then by a new card im afraid.

The Game you have is it battlefield 2 by any chance? if so BF2 only supports a certain ammount of graphics cards with Pixel Shader 2.0 or some sort,

If you can afford a gfx card then get the 9800PRO its quite cheap and very good for it money.
