I really don't think it will be possible to "Re-Programme" the game, the best bet would probably be to get a new video card.
At the end of the day new games will be coming out which would probably need a new graphics card anyway so might be worth looking into.

Well if your into overclocking ( as I am) you can overclock the card a little. Or alot depending But caution doing this can make your video card useless and a nice paperweight. So foloow the directiosn closly on the program
