Default [Resolved] Games not full screen

Greetings everyone,
I'm having problems with my graphics and I'm looking for some ideas. When I run games they don't run full screen, they run in a small box, not a window... I thought it might be a resolution problem but changing the resolution changes my screen size but doesn't help the games... I've had this problem before and uninstalled/reinstalled my drivers which seemed to help until restart... now that isn't even helping... I'm at a loss, what the heck is going on?

This is all games, and it wasn't always like this. It's a relativly new problem, but other than DPI I haven't made any settings changes. Like I said, the first few times it happend I uninstalled/reinstalled the drivers which helped temporarly but that no longer works... I'm at a loss.

Try pressing Alt-Enter once the game has begun.

No joy there, but oddly enough, I let my battery get too low and my machine shut down. I plugged it in started it back up and just tried Far Cry, the game in the drive, and it is just slightly smaller than full screen. Bigger than before but not perfect... this is so screwy, I've never seen anything like this... it's as if my graphics have a mind of there own.
