Default [Information/Pending] Game Problem

I installed today the demo of battlefield 2. At the end of the installation, it told me that it needed to update the drivers for my nvidia card, which i said yes to. It asked me to restart and i did and logged in again. Whenever i go to open the game, the screen goes blank like it's going into the game, but then it just goes back to the desktop like nothing happened. Does this have anything to do with the nvidia drivers? What should I do?

Ok, what you need to do, is remove the old drivers before installing the new ones. It may be a case of them just conflicting.

You can download the latest drivers from the Nvidia website
http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

Do you know the make and model number of your card?
