The Nvidia GeForce is an excellent video card, although they can be pricey.

Thanks Hmm.. i would spend like up to $100 on a new gfx.. but i might get one off ebay or something. I also need a way to see how to install the vid card and if my computer is compatable with it. It would really suck to spend 100 bucks on something i cant use :P

Hmmm, ok i figured out that i have PCI slots but im not sure what the difference is between a pci and a pci-express x16 slot X_X.? From what i hear PCI slot gfx cards are pretty crappy but my pc is cheap and old so meh.? I'm looking for something that will run source decently (40 fps is all that i'd need :-/) and is capable of running directx9.

Oops, also my friend says i am running onboard video.. if that is any use. I don't believe I have a AGP slot so I wouldnt need to disconnect any video cards right? x_X;;;

Looking at your motherboard vertically, the AGP is a brown slot above your white PCI slots.

If you didn't buy your motherboard/PC in the last few months then you won't have PCI express.

This card looks like a good buy imho: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...282028&CatId=0
