Nice card :-D. as far as it going into standbuy, i have the poop powersupply also right now, and i find that in some old apps, or certain parts of startup, the monitor does go into standby. As far as the old games, i notice that radeons new drivers seem to be worse than the orgional ones the catalyst cd comes with. I play the old counter-strike 1.6 and i notice that the game looks a lot better with the old drivers and maybee that is the problem with your new drivers and that old game you are playing.
