Default [Pending] What am i doing Wrong? Graphics Card Problem

I have got a new Graphics Card for my pc Nvidia Geforce Fx 5200
but i can't get it to work i think i am doing something wrong in windows as soon as it loads windows the screen turns off or it cannot get a load windows properly although i can view the bios with the new graphics conected to the monitor

My Mother Board is Gigabyte GA7VKLMS

At the moment my graphics card is an onboard S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR

Someone told me to turn off the S3 graphics card on the motherboard but I have looked at the motherboard instructions and i don't think there is one on mine

Welcome to PCHF caritas.

I have uploaded your motherboard manual in PDF format Gigabyte GA7VKLMS Manual

Have you fully complied with page 1 of the manual - it looks really important !

I think there may have been a typo in your first post - do you actually have a GA7VKMLS and not a GA7VKLMS ? Does your motherboard look like the attached one?

I can't find anywhere to turn off the onboard graphics either. You could try loading BIOS Fail-Safe Defaults (in the main BIOS menu) - see your manual page 41.
