All Program menu

all program menu not opening.
there is a black screen above all programs.

n

menu bar disappear in explorer window.
not able to create,del, any user.

i had scanned my system with kaspersky
but nothing happened.
please tell me whats wrong

Please click the link to PreWork (found in my Signature line) and follow instructions. Post ALL requested logs back into this thread for review by the Security team. Once your logs are posted here, I will relocate the thread to the [NEW] HJT Logs forum for evaluation.

If you have issues running any of these tools in normal mode, you might try either Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking. Both are accessed by pressing F8 immediately following reboot and making your selection from the OS menu.

problem is still there when i started wth safe mode problem remains there.

No Start button option in Safe Mode?

If you have your original Windows disk, you might try to run a REPAIR of your installation.

Else I have few options available to me other than to suggest a format. Any data that you wish to save could be backed up if you removed the hard drive from this computer and "slaved" it to another system. Your data could be accessed and backed up from there.

A repair is possible without formating. IF that doesn't work, then I would suggest a format.

Try booting into safe mode command prompt as this often work when all else fails at the black screen
type C:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe and press Enter.

and see if you can do a system restore

you could try typing

nusrmgr.cpl

and see if you can create a new user and login with that a sit may work
