this just started happening all of a sudden, but every time i attempt to open a video with windows media player or windows media player classic i get an instant crash, but i can open with nero showtime no problem, i have tried a reboot and no change, i am runnung k-lite mega codec pack for my codecs, im pretty sure FDDshow is decoding the video, here is the error details, let me know what you all think, thanks!

well i apologize, i should have tried reinstalling the codec pack first, just did, got alot of registry errors on uninstall and im assuming that caused the problem, after a clean install all works well, problem solved
