I have two copies of Broderbund Printmaster Platinum and one of Broderbund Printmaster Silver. After having some work done on my system because of a major crash, I can't seem to run any of them. They install fine, I do the registration, I am told that the installation was complete. When I try to run them, the opening screen comes up and freezes. then I get a message, Error 1305. Error Reading (I didn't copy the whole message down). Since then I have removed the program from my system.
Can you offer any advise? The program was running prior to my crash which was caused by an Automatic Windows Update.

Which OS do you have? In the mean time take a look at this url and see if it applies................You receive an "Error 1305: Setup Cannot Read File" error message when you install Office 2003

I read it and it doesn't seem to apply. I can put other discs in the drive and they will install the program without any problem.

Gary,
A screen shot of the error message would be most useful to assist in the troubleshooting. I realize that you have removed the software. Might you reinstall so you could capture that message? No need to manually copy the wording, a screen shot would be better

Sorry I haven't got back sooner, but several small problems seem to have popped up, so I am having a technician come in to look at all of them. So for now we can close this thread and if the problems still persist I can get back if that is okay.
