I'm using Windows Live Mail to view my Newsfeeds but on some of the feeds when the page comes up in the reading pane displays this error:-

A Windows Internet Explorer Window comes up and says:-

One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either:
1) Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page, or
2) You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls.

The same page displays fine in IE8 so I don't think its my Internet settings and I haven't blocked any publisher so I'm a bit confused

Any ideas?

PS. This message seems to comes up if there is a video on the page

What are the feeds that you are having problems with?

so far it's the bbc news feeds, its seems to be the ones that have some kind of media on the page

Ok, 2 things to do here:

1) Update FlashPlayer to the latest version: Adobe - Downloads

2) Go to Tools -> Internet Options and choose the Security tab. Make sure that live.com is in the Trusted Sites zone list (click on the "Sites" button"). Also, make sure all Security zones are at the default level -- if the "Set Default" buttons are all greyed out, then it is done.

did that and still the same ... ive also installed shockwave but still the problem.

do i have to reboot for it to take effect

ok i shut down pc, waited for 15 windows updates to install LOL ... reboot and the same thing.

I've attached a screenshot. BTW ... they display fine in IE8 so don't think it's a setting in Internet Settings
