Default Change/Remove Option is not showing...

In Add or Remove Programs ...I cant able to uninstall a software as it is not displaying the option -- Change/Remove

What is preventing that option from displaying ?

I want to uninstall sygate firewall..Longtime before i used it...
There will be also an uninstall option in the folder where the software is located. For many software i noticed. But for some, its not.For sygate, its not there.
I thought i can delte it manually which is in the folder.I think if i delete it that way also, still it will show in Add or Remove Programs...I didnt deleted it manually yet.

So,is there anyway to uninstall that software through Add or Remove Programs ?

In XP what option shows up in the Add and Remove Programs feature depends upon the installer/uninstaller that is bundled with the program. Some only support remove, some support change/remove. That change refers to the installers support for a "Repair" option most of the time. (Replacement of missing files)

Don't disregard Clever_Duck, try using that program if you're having difficulty removing it. I just wanted to clarify.
