Default Blu-Rays Bright/ Colour Space

Hello again my lovelys

I'll keep it simple.

DVD's look nice, blu-rays look awsome, but blu-rays have wrong colour space. Blacks are grey and lack detail. Yes Screen and everything is set up correctly, because DVD's and tv look perfect. Seems Mpeg 4 decoding isnt the correct colour space.

(have played with the Nvidia controls but nothing improves it.)

Software i use to play it, HP QuickPlay (repackaged version of PowerDVD, but simple interface, and no options )

using a HP pavilion laptop. DV7

Gonna try and use arcsoft and see if it's better.

Hi

Looking around, I found something, but first I have to ask: Do you use McAfee?

Have a look here
The BD-ROM drive on my HP Pavilion dv7-1014ca notebook will not recognize certain Blu-Ray discs.
