Talking how do I get rid of a program

I was given a pc ages ago from a company that went bankrupt. It has solidworks program on the pc, but I don't have a dongal..not sure if that's how you spell it..anyway. I want to remove the program but I don't seem to be able to. I have tried the add/remove programs, but no luck. Anyone know how I can get it off the pc? The pc is constantly looking for the dongal and it really slows everything down. Any help MUCH appreciated!

I've found in the past that Revo Uninstaller works very well at removing programs including registry entries as well. If when trying to remove a program and your getting the message that its in use try a program called Unlocker. it will find whats using that program and allow you to "unlock" it then be able to delete/remove it
