I recently had AIM 6.8, but the update for 6.9 came and I ignored it for a while. I finally decided to install 6.9, but found that after installation it would not open So I restarted my computer. That didn't work. So I uninstalled it, restarted the computer, then reinstalled it. It still did not work. I tried all different combinations of installing and restarting. I even tried a system restore. I finally found the AIM Beta version. This would install and work. It will suffice for now, but I don't really like this version of AIM. So if anybody could help that would be great =]

I've found older version AIMs available for download here. Perhaps you can remove the Beta version and go back to a 6.8 install using this?
