i have a portable version of Super utilities, however for some reason im getting this error
Executable 'C:\Program Files\SuperLogix\Super Utilities\SuperUtil.exe' had the following unrecoverable error:
failed to load C:\Program Files\SuperLogix\Super Utilities\SuperUtil.exe
now the location of the file im trying to execute is in a different location
yadda yadda\My Documents\Downloads\Super Utilities Pro v9.45 Portable
but everytime i try to execute the program it trys to execute the program in a location that doesnt exist, if i copy this portable file to another PC it works fine and it used to work fine on my pc.
what i think i have done was somehow directed the execution of this file to the location where i originally had it installed (but now uninstalled). reinstalling the program doesnt fix the portable version as it still comes up with the same error.
from what i can gather the program itself is fine and on any other PC works as it should but there is something in my PC that directs it to the wrong location when i try to execute this file.
ive looked through the registry but i cant find any entries that would account for this situation.
if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know
thanx in advance

Hello demandred!
Have you tried a RegistryCleaner? I've had great success with CCleaner removing legacy crud of uninstalled software from my system's registry. Download and scan with CCleaner Download CCleaner 2.21.940 - FileHippo.com 1. Starting with v1.27.260, CCleaner installs the Yahoo Toolbar as an option which IS checkmarked by default during the installation. IF you do NOT want it, REMOVE the checkmark when provided with the option OR download the toolbar-free Basic or Slim versions instead of the Standard Build. 2. Before first use, select Options > Advanced and UNCHECK "Only delete files in Windows Temp folder older than 48 hours" 3. Then select the items you wish to clean up. In the Windows Tab: • Clean all entries in the "Internet Explorer" section except Cookies. • Clean all the entries in the "Windows Explorer" section. • Clean all entries in the "System" section. • Clean all entries in the "Advanced" section. • Clean any others that you choose. In the Applications Tab: • Clean all except cookies in the Firefox/Mozilla section if you use it. • Clean all in the Opera section if you use it. • Clean Sun Java in the Internet Section. • Clean any others that you choose. 4. Click the "Run Cleaner" button. 5. A pop up box will appear advising this process will permanently delete files from your system. 6. Click "OK" and it will scan and clean your system. 7. Now click on the "Registry" button toward top left. 8. Click on the "Scan for issues" button toward bottom. 9. Once scan is complete click on "Fix selected issues" button at bottom right. 10. A little box will pop up asking if you want to backup changes so click "Yes". 11. Click "Save". 12. Click "Fix". 13. Click "Exit".
